The Student Accommodation Mobilisation Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful launch and operational mobilisation of new student accommodation properties across the UK and Europe. This role ensures that each property is fully functional, compliant, and ready to welcome students by managing pre-opening activities and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
About the role
Develop and execute mobilisation plans for new student accommodation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and operational standards are met.
Coordinate with property developers, contractors, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction completion to operational launch.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and initial training of site teams to ensure they are fully prepared for opening.
Ensure operational readiness, including systems implementation, health & safety compliance, and installation of key operational systems.
Act as the main point of contact between property owners, developers, and the operational team during mobilisation phases, reporting regularly to senior management on project progress.
Manage mobilisation budgets and oversee cost control while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Work closely with operations teams to support the transition from mobilisation to steady-state operations.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field.
5 years of experience in student accommodation, property management, or hospitality industries.
Strong leadership, organisational, and project management skills.
Ability to travel across the UK and Europe.
